If powder is what you are looking for, the K2 Dispatch 101 will serve you well in the backcountry! The Dispatch 101 is 100% freeride and floats superbly in the deep powder. But if you occasionally make some turns on the piste that is no problem for the Dispatch 101. The Dispatch 101 will deliver nice round, wider carved turns on piste and makes sideslipping turns just as easily.

Speeding through tracked snow is what little skis do better than the Dispatch 101. The Dispatch 101 has lots of stability and excellent absorption of irregularities in the terrain, a nice rocker construction and a very nice flex.
