Product Description

The Atomic Hawx Ultra XTD 130 is a lightweight alpine touring boot designed for skiers who split their time between uphill climbs and demanding downhill runs. It offers a balance of touring efficiency and on-piste performance, letting you move more easily on the ascent without sacrificing power when it’s time to charge back down.

With a narrow 98 mm last and low-volume shell, this boot delivers a snug, precise fit that keeps your foot locked in place for accurate edge control. A flex rating of 130 provides a stiff, responsive feel underfoot, which helps transmit every input directly to the ski. At around 1 430 g per boot (size 26–26.5), it strikes a solid compromise between durability and lightness, reducing fatigue on long approaches.

The term “last” refers to the width of the boot’s forefoot; at 98 mm, it’s on the narrower side and favours skiers who want close contact and quick response. The flex rating is a scale of stiffness—130 is toward the firmer end, meaning the cuff resists forward flex and offers strong support at high speeds or in challenging terrain. “Low volume” indicates there’s less internal space, which helps minimize movement inside the shell for precise control.
