Dometic Rarotonga FTT 601 TC Vestibule

The Rarotonga FTT 601 TC Vestibule from Dometic is designed to extend the sheltered space of your tent, creating a covered entrance area for stowing gear, cooking or simply relaxing out of the weather. It attaches to compatible tents and provides extra protection against wind and rain without taking up much more campsite real estate.

Constructed from a blend of polyester-cotton and mesh, this vestibule balances durability with airflow to help keep condensation down. The Dometic AirFrame poles replace traditional aluminium, using inflatable beams for a sturdy yet flexible structure. At 440 cm wide and 200 cm tall, it offers ample headroom and width, while the included pegs, groundsheet and storage bag mean you have everything you need to pitch and pack away.

The Dometic AirFrame system relies on inflatable beams rather than rigid poles. By pumping air into the beams you achieve a taut, stable shelter that is less prone to bending or breaking. This approach also simplifies setup—one pump stroke brings the structure to life—and allows minor pressure adjustments on the fly to handle changing wind or snow loads.
