The Dynastar Speedzone 4X4 78 Pro is an all-mountain frontside ski designed for skiers who like to carve on groomed slopes and handle changing snow conditions. With a 78 mm waist, it strikes a balance between nimble edge-to-edge performance and enough surface area to stay stable when the snow gets a bit chopped up.
Thanks to its 122/78/106 mm sidecut, this ski initiates turns quickly while still holding an edge when you pick up speed. The Look NX 12 Konect GW bindings come pre-mounted in a petrol-red finish and accept both GripWalk and standard alpine boot soles, so you don’t have to worry about swapping out plates. That binding choice gives a comfortable, secure feel underfoot and a release range suited to spirited carving.
The 15 m radius means you can link medium-sized turns without feeling like you’re forcing the ski into too tight an arc or struggling to hold long curves. At 3.8 kg per ski (171 cm), the non-lightweight construction helps dampen chatter on harder snow, giving a more stable ride when you pick up speed. The GripWalk-compatible Look Konect system also uses a simple heel-lift for walk mode, though it isn’t intended for uphill touring.
