Exped Dura 3R MW

The Exped Dura 3R MW is an inflatable sleeping mat designed to offer cushioned support and warmth on overnight camping trips. It’s aimed at outdoor enthusiasts who want a compact airbed that adds a layer of comfort between them and the ground.

Built with a recycled 75D polyester shell and filled with 60 g/m² bluesign-certified Texpedloft microfiber insulation, the mat resists drafts and holds its shape through the night. At about 840 g it balances insulation with carry weight, and when deflated it rolls down to roughly 27 × 13.5 cm so it fits neatly into most backpacks. Its 7 cm thickness also helps smooth out uneven terrain.

With an R-value of 2.9, the Dura 3R MW provides moderate thermal resistance to block ground chill in three-season conditions. The R-value is a measure of how well a material resists heat flow—a higher number means better insulation—so a 2.9 rating helps keep you warmer than a non-insulated pad.
