The Gruezi Bag Biopod DownWool Subzero 185 Black Edition is a three-season mummy sleeping bag designed for campers who want reliable warmth without extra bulk. Its 200 cm length is best suited for users up to around 170 cm tall, making it a snug choice for staying comfortable on chilly nights down to around 2 °C. The blend of down and wool insulation keeps you cosy while letting excess moisture escape, so you wake up dry rather than damp.

Inside, you’ll find 561 g of filling made up of 70 % duck down and 30 % wool, which combines the high loft and compressibility of down with wool’s natural ability to manage moisture and resist odors. The outer shell is crafted from recycled, ultralight 20 denier 380T nylon that breathes as you move but still sheds light rain. When it’s time to pack up, the bag compresses to a 35 × 20 × 20 cm bundle that slips easily into your pack without taking up precious space.

The term “20 denier” refers to the fineness of the nylon fibers—thinner fibers mean less weight without sacrificing tear resistance—while “380T” denotes the thread count, indicating a tight weave that boosts durability and water repellency. A comfort rating of around 2 °C means most campers will feel warm enough at that temperature, provided they’re wearing a base layer and using a suitable sleeping pad.
