The Jones Lone Wolf Testboard 19/20 is a directional snowboard built to handle a range of on-piste and off-piste conditions. It’s designed for riders who want a reliable board that tracks smoothly on groomers and still offers enough lift to cruise through softer snow.
Its directional shape shifts more weight toward the tail, helping the board maintain stability at speed and bite into turns. The hybrid profile combines traditional camber underfoot for snap and precise edge hold with rocker in the nose and tail to enhance float in deeper snow. A flex rating of 7 means the board responds quickly to your inputs without feeling overly stiff, making it versatile enough for both fast carving and playful tweaks.
The hybrid profile blends two common camber styles: camber creates a gentle arch between the contact points, storing energy for pop and consistent edge pressure, while rocker curves the tip and tail upward to reduce hang-ups in powder. Flex is measured on a 1 (soft) to 10 (stiff) scale—at 7, you get a good mix of stability at higher speeds and enough forgiveness to roll through varied terrain.

Jones says about the Lone Wolf Testboard 19/20
BUILT FOR BIG TURNS, BIG TERRAIN. The Lone Wolf is a big gun swallowtail built to arc big turns in big terrain. Designed by surf shaper Chris Christenson and Jeremy Jones, the Lone Wolf blends features of a pow board with the long sidecut of a Super-G race board. It’s designed to be ridden long as the narrow waist width, long sidecut, camber underfoot and Triax Carbon Innegra make it a rocketship for the aggressive hard pack carver. In powder, the Lone Wolf’s 3D Contour Base 3.0 and Directional Rocker profile offer unsinkable float. New for 2020, the Lone Wolf features a FSC Bamboo Surf Core for better edge response + turn power and Rounded Recycled ABS Sidewalls for improved topsheet durability.
