The 2024-2025 Jones Stratos is an all-mountain snowboard designed to handle everything from groomed runs to powder days. With its directional outline and mid-stiff flex, it’s aimed at riders who want a single board that performs well across resort terrain and off-piste excursions.
The Stratos features a directional shape that shifts your weight toward the tail for improved stability at speed and reliable tracking during carves. Its CamRock profile combines a subtle rise between the bindings—boosting float in soft snow—with camber under the nose and tail for edge hold on harder surfaces. A flex rating of 6 offers a balance of responsiveness and playfulness, making the board lively enough for quick turns while still providing support when you’re pressing into varied conditions.
CamRock merges the benefits of rocker and camber: the rocker section lifts the nose to keep you floating in powder, and the camber sections underfoot add pop and grip. Flex is measured on a scale from 1 (very soft) to 10 (very stiff), so a 6 puts the Stratos in the medium-stiff range, lending both control on steeper terrain and enough give for playful riding.

Jones says about the Stratos
The Stratos is a hybrid all-mountain board built with the body of a directional freeride board and the spirit of a freestyle board. The Stratos has a playful board feel thanks to a narrow sidecut and friendly flex, but the 10mm of taper and 3D Contour Base 3.0 give it the float and turn performance of a pow board. The directional rocker profile and Traction Tech 3.0 keep the Stratos locked on edge accelerating into carves and the textured Eco-plastic topsheet and Basalt stringers add torsional response and reduce board chatter in rough terrain. The Stratos also features Float Pack inserts that offer a setback stance option for the deepest days.
