The Kampa Studland 8 AIR is an inflatable family tent designed to sleep eight people comfortably on campsite adventures. It brings together spacious living space and a sturdy structure, making it well suited for multi-person trips where quick setup and durability matter.
Constructed with Weathershield 68D polyester on the outer fabric and a 100% polyester inner tent, this model resists the wear and tear of regular use without weighing you down. The inflatable air beams replace traditional poles, so you can pitch the tent faster using the included pump. With a peak height of 225 cm, there’s enough room to move around inside, and it all packs down to a manageable 85 × 48 × 46 cm in the supplied carry bag. You’ll also find pegs and guy-lines in the bag, ready to secure the tent in varying conditions.
In tent fabrics, “68D” refers to the denier rating, which measures the thickness of individual fibers. A 68-denier polyester strikes a balance between strength and packability, helping the tent withstand wind and abrasion while remaining relatively lightweight. The groundsheet’s 100% polyethylene construction adds another layer of toughness, resisting punctures and providing a reliable barrier against damp ground. The inflatable beam frame uses air pressure to create a rigid structure, so you don’t need to wrestle with metal poles—just pump up the tubes and you’re good to go.
