The Alto Guide Hardshell Hooded Jacket Men from Mammut is a 3-layer shell designed to keep you dry and comfortable during unpredictable outdoor adventures. It serves as a lightweight barrier against wind and rain, without any added insulation, making it suitable for a wide range of activities where weather protection is a priority.

Built from 100% polyamide with a 40D ripstop weave, the jacket delivers a balance of strength and lightness in a regular fit that accommodates layering. Mammut DRYtechnology™ Pro equips it with a waterproof, breathable membrane, while fully taped seams and an adjustable hood enhance its weather defence. As a Bluesign®-certified, Fair Wear product treated with a PFC-free durable water-repellent finish, it also addresses environmental and social standards.

The three-layer construction means the waterproof membrane is bonded between the outer fabric and an inner lining, creating a robust yet flexible shell that won’t soak up moisture. A 40D fabric refers to the thickness of the fibres—strong enough to resist abrasion on trails but light enough to keep pack weight down. The PFC-free durable water-repellent (DWR) treatment makes water bead on the surface, extending the time before the jacket needs re-treating.
