Product Description

The Nigor WickiUp 5 Demo is a family-size tent designed to offer shelter for up to five campers on outdoor trips. Its simple structure provides a roomy living area and enough headroom to stand up inside, making it a solid choice for weekend getaways or longer excursions where space and comfort matter.

Inside, the WickiUp 5 Demo features a 15D ripstop nylon inner tent treated with Durable Water Repellent (DWR), which helps keep the walls dry and reduces condensation. The groundsheet is made from 30D high tenacity Ripstop Nylon 66, silicone-coated on both sides and rated at 3000 mm water column, offering a balance of toughness and moisture protection underfoot. At 3.8 kg total weight and measuring 380 × 330 cm with a peak height of 205 cm, it strikes a reasonable compromise between carrying weight and interior space.

‘Denier’ (D) refers to the thickness of each yarn: a 15D fabric keeps weight down while still resisting small tears thanks to its ripstop weave. The DWR treatment encourages water to bead and roll off rather than soak in. The groundsheet’s 3000 mm rating means it will hold back light to moderate rain, though very heavy or prolonged showers may eventually penetrate. Silicone coatings on both sides enhance tear resistance and help the material stay flexible in changing temperatures.
