Nortik PackRaft Skeg Removable

The PackRaft Skeg Removable from Nortik is a replacement fin designed for use on PackRaft inflatable kayaks and rafts. It helps your craft hold a straighter line when paddling in wind or currents, giving you more confidence on open water.

The skeg simply slides into the skeg box on your PackRaft hull and can be pulled out by hand whenever you need extra manoeuvrability. That means you can quickly switch between better tracking in open stretches and tighter turning in shallow or winding sections without fumbling with tools or extra parts.

A skeg is a keel-like fin mounted on the bottom of a kayak or raft to reduce sideways drift, known as yaw, and keep you moving straight. With a removable design, you get the benefit of improved directional stability when you want it, and full freedom to pivot or navigate obstacles when you don’t.
