The Fornix MIPS from POC is a ski helmet designed for men who need dependable head protection on the slopes. It’s part of POC’s helmet range featuring MIPS technology for added safety in a straightforward design without a visor.

The helmet’s polycarbonate shell offers a robust barrier without tipping the scales—at just 0.48 kg it stays light on your head, helping to reduce neck strain over a full day of skiing. Ventilation channels usher fresh air through the shell to regulate temperature when you’re working hard on steep runs, and the built-in MIPS layer adds another level of impact management.

MIPS stands for Multi-directional Impact Protection System. It’s a low-friction layer inside the helmet that allows the head to move slightly relative to the shell during angled impacts, which can help lower the rotational forces transferred to the brain.
