The Rab Alpine Pro 200 is a two-season mummy down sleeping bag designed to keep you cozy on mild-to-cool nights without weighing you down. It’s built for campers and trekkers who want a straightforward, reliable bag for spring and autumn adventures.
With 200 grams of 650FP RDS-certified duck down, the Alpine Pro 200 finds a balance between warmth and pack size, while its Pertex® Quantum Pro shell helps shed moisture without adding bulk. The nylon ripstop lining is soft next to the skin yet tough enough to resist tears, and at 215 cm it’s sized for users up to around 185 cm tall. Weighing in at just 757 g, it falls into our superlight category, so it slips easily into your pack.
Fill power (650FP) measures how much space one ounce of down occupies when fully lofted—higher numbers mean more warmth for less weight, so 650FP down delivers solid insulation without excess bulk. Pertex Quantum Pro fabric is treated to repel moisture and wind, helping the down maintain its loft over damp ground, and the ripstop lining reduces the chance of tears. The bag’s comfort ratings sit at +8 °C for women and +3 °C for men, making it a good choice when temperatures stay above those levels.
