Product Description

The RAB Downpour Jacket is a waterproof, unlined outer layer designed for men who need reliable protection from rain on outdoor adventures. Its mid-length cut offers extra coverage while keeping the overall profile streamlined for hiking, commuting or general use in wet conditions.

Constructed from 100% polyester with a Pertex® coating and featuring a 2.5-layer build, this jacket strikes a balance between durability and packability. The regular fit allows room for layering underneath without excess bulk, and the coated surface helps water bead up and roll off rather than soaking into the fabric.

A 2.5-layer design consists of a face fabric bonded to a waterproof membrane, with a light inner coating to protect the membrane and reduce flapping against the body. This approach keeps the jacket lightweight and easy to stow. Pertex® refers to a tightly woven, treated fabric that boosts abrasion resistance and water-shedding performance without noticeably increasing weight.
