Product Description

The RAB Mythic Alpine Light Jacket is a slim-fit, insulated down jacket for men, designed to add warmth without bulk on alpine routes or cool-weather hikes. It’s a hoodless layer that slides easily under a shell or works on its own when your activity level rises.

Built with 100% recycled polyamide and filled with ethically sourced down, this jacket uses 10D recycled Pertex® Quantum ripstop fabric for a balance of light weight and durability. The slim cut keeps the insulation close to your body, reducing air gaps that can cool you down, while a fluorocarbon-free durable water-repellent finish helps shed light moisture from mist or snow.

The 10D designation refers to the denier of the yarn—thinner fibers that reduce overall weight while maintaining strength through a ripstop weave that prevents small tears from spreading. Pertex® Quantum fabric offers a tight weave for wind resistance and softness against the skin. The DWR treatment causes water to bead up and roll off the fabric surface, helping preserve loft and thermal performance in damp conditions.
