The Eagle Rock TC 6+2XP by Robens is a roomy family tent designed to shelter up to six people, plus an extended porch area for extra gear or shelter. It’s aimed at campers who need a sturdy, all-season shelter with generous internal space and a weather-resistant outer layer.
Its HydroTex Polycotton RS ripstop fabric blends polyester and cotton to balance strength with natural breathability, helping to regulate temperature and reduce condensation inside. The inner tent’s 68D polyester fabric adds further airflow for a comfortable night’s sleep. A polyethylene groundsheet with a 10,000 mm hydrostatic head keeps water out during heavy showers, while the anodised #6061 T6 aluminium pole frame offers solid support without adding excessive weight. At 220 cm tall internally, there’s enough headroom to move around freely, and the 340 cm width ensures sleeping compartments and living space don’t feel cramped.
HydroTex Polycotton RS combines 65% polyester with 35% cotton: polyester fibers give tear-resistance and quick drying, while cotton fibers help absorb moisture and reduce stuffiness. The 10,000 mm hydrostatic head rating means the groundsheet can withstand rainfall equivalent to 10 metres of water pressure before leaking, so puddles and downpours are unlikely to soak through. The anodised finish on the aluminium poles helps resist corrosion, keeping the frame rigid and reliable season after season.
