The Rossignol Blackops Blazer Women is a women’s alpine ski designed to balance carving performance and agile handling on varied terrain. Built by Rossignol, it targets skiers who appreciate responsive turns and reliable control.
With a 16-metre turn radius at 162 cm, the Blackops Blazer Women strikes a balance between stability at speed and nimble responsiveness in tighter turns. Its 122/86/108 mm shape provides enough width underfoot for floatation in softer snow while still allowing precise edge engagement on firmer slopes. At 1.4 kg per ski, it stays light enough to help reduce fatigue over long days, and the flat binding setup maintains a consistent flex from tip to tail for a predictable feel underfoot.
The turn radius of 16 m describes the arc the ski naturally follows when tilted on edge—a shorter radius makes quicker, tighter turns easier, while a longer radius favours high-speed stability. The sidecut, shown as tip-waist-tail measurements (122/86/108 mm), indicates how the ski’s shape facilitates both carving on hardpack (through a narrower waist) and floatation in softer snow (with wider tips and tails).
