The Safarica Blackhawk 220 TC is a three-person cotton-polyester tent designed to serve as extra living or sleeping space at your campsite. Sized at 220 by 400 cm with a centre height of 140 cm, it offers enough room to sit comfortably and store gear without taking up your entire pitch.
The outer tent is made from 100% breathable technical cotton (around 210 g/m²), which helps keep the interior temperature balanced and cuts down on condensation, while the inner tent uses a combination of technical cotton and breathable polyamide for a drier feel. A robust polyethylene groundsheet shields against damp ground, and the fiberglass pole frame provides reliable structure without being overly heavy. Included in the package are a carry bag, reflective guy lines and steel pegs, so you have everything you need to set up quickly.
When we talk about fabric weight—210 g/m²—it simply means each square metre of canvas weighs 210 grams. That’s a good middle ground between durability and breathability. Fiberglass poles bend under pressure rather than snapping, making them a practical choice for a camping setup, and the polyethylene floor is tough and low-stretch, keeping moisture out. At 10.3 kg, the tent is best suited to car or short-distance camping trips rather than long backpacking hauls.
