Product Description

The Salomon Guardian MNC 13 S is a freeride touring binding built to balance the demands of uphill travel and steep descents. It’s aimed at riders who want a binding sturdy enough for technical lines without feeling like you’re hauling extra weight on the skin track.

Weighing in at 1460 grams, the binding finds a middle ground between durability and manageable weight, letting you move more efficiently without sacrificing solidity on firmer snow. Its glass-fiber reinforced polyamide construction adds toughness where you need it most, and the wide DIN range of 4 to 13 suits everything from lighter intermediates to heavier, more aggressive skiers who need a secure connection underfoot.

The ‘MNC’ label stands for Multi Norm Certified, meaning the toe piece adjusts to fit alpine, touring and rockered freeride boots without extra adapters. The DIN value refers to the release force setting that determines how much pressure is needed to eject the boot in a fall—lower numbers release sooner, higher numbers hold on through harder turns. With a 4–13 range you can fine-tune the binding to your weight, boot length and skiing style, but it’s best to have your local technician set it up for you.
