The Salomon Stance 84 is an all-mountain frontside ski designed for skiers who spend most of their time on groomers but still want the freedom to explore mild off-piste terrain. Its 84 mm waist sits in the sweet spot between quick edge-to-edge carving and enough surface area for light powder or crud.
With a sidecut measuring 123/84/106 mm, the Stance 84 balances stability at speed with agile turn initiation. The narrower tip and tail help the ski engage and release cleanly on firm snow, while the 84 mm waist provides enough support for varied conditions. Coming unmounted (flat binding), it lets you pick the binding system and mounting position that best suits your skiing style and boot choice.
The 16 m turn radius on the 177 cm length makes this ski comfortable in medium-radius arcs. A smaller radius means the ski naturally wants to snap into shorter, more responsive turns, so you’ll find it nimble when weaving through trees or linking quick turns across the piste.

Salomon says about the Stance 84
Energetic and stable, the Stance 84 is just the ski you need to confidently progress across the mountain. The Titanal frame gives you just the right amount of energy to cruise through crud and icy groomers, while a progressive frontside sidecut and poplar wood core offer lively and controllable turns no matter how steep or deep the snow is.
