Product Description

The Samaya OPTI 1.5 is an ultralight, geodesic tent designed for two people who want a compact shelter that keeps pack weight down. It offers a snug sleeping area and enough headroom to sit up comfortably, making it well-suited for backpacking trips where every gram counts.

Its floor is made from 34 g/m² Dyneema® Composite Fabric, and the walls feature a 3-layer laminated fabric with a Nanovent® membrane, blending durability, breathability and protection from light showers. Reinforced floor corners in Cordura® and Dyneema shield high-stress points from abrasion, while the water-repellent Aquaguard® YKK® zip helps keep moisture at bay. At just 0.7 kg, the OPTI 1.5 slips easily into a pack and frees up space for other essentials.

Dyneema® Composite Fabric offers exceptional strength-to-weight performance and resists tearing, while the Nanovent® membrane provides a breathable barrier that lets moisture escape without sacrificing shelter from the elements. Cordura® reinforcement adds toughness where the tent meets the ground, and Aquaguard® YKK® zippers combine smooth operation with water-resistant properties.
