Product Description

The Summit Futurelight Jacket Women's from The North Face is a waterproof ski jacket designed for women facing wet, cold conditions on the mountain. Its short cut provides a streamlined silhouette for active days in snowy terrain.

Made from 100% recycled nylon with a regular fit, this jacket strikes a balance between freedom of movement and reliable protection. The FUTURELIGHT™ construction delivers breathable, durable waterproofing so moisture stays out without trapping sweat, while the PFC-free durable water-repellent finish sheds light rain and snow and avoids environmentally harmful chemicals.

FUTURELIGHT™ is a proprietary membrane formed through nanospinning, creating microscopic pores that block water droplets but allow water vapor to escape—helping you stay dry from both outside wetness and internal perspiration. The PFC-free treatment ensures lasting water repellency without perfluorinated compounds, reducing its ecological footprint.

The Summit FUTURELIGHT™ Jacket defies expectations with the highest level of durable, breathable-waterproof protection and it's designed for pushing your limits in challenging conditions. This three-layer shell features a host of mountaineering-specific details such as an adjustable, wire-brim helmet-compatible hood, two-way harness-friendly zip and easy-to-reach chest pocket. Plus, the FUTURELIGHT™ fabric features stretch, so reachy moves won't be restricted. There are two additional hand pockets and an internal mesh pocket. Seamless shoulders reduce the chance of chaffing and discomfort when carrying a backpack. The hem and cuffs are fully adjustable. Summit Series™ layers all work together for optimum performance in terms of breathability, insulation, weather resistance and moisture management.
