Vango Universal Carpet

The Vango Universal Carpet is a standalone groundsheet designed to sit underfoot in tents and awnings. At 300 cm wide and 130 cm deep, it adds a layer of comfort and protection between you and the ground, helping to keep your tent floor cleaner and more durable over time.

Constructed with a woven nylon upper surface, this carpet balances strength and lightness, making it easy to pack and carry on camping trips without weighing you down. The underside is coated with polyurethane, which helps resist moisture coming up from the ground and simplifies cleaning if dirt or spills occur. Weighing just 1.12 kg, it’s substantial enough to stay in place yet still portable for a variety of tent layouts.

Woven nylon is known for its abrasion resistance, so the top layer can handle foot traffic and movement of camping gear without wearing through easily. Polyurethane is a durable synthetic polymer coating applied to the underside; it acts as a waterproof barrier to stop ground moisture from seeping up, and it also means mud or water on the carpet surface can be wiped away rather than soaking in.
