The Vardag Lite Padded Jacket by Fjällräven is a short, insulated layer made for men who spend time outdoors in cool to chilly weather. Its modest length and lightweight construction make it easy to wear on its own or under a heavier coat when the temperature really drops.

Built from Fjällräven’s G-1000 Eco fabric—a blend of 65% recycled polyester and 35% organic cotton—this jacket combines durability with breathability. The regular fit leaves enough room for a mid-layer and doesn’t restrict movement, while the synthetic padding provides steady warmth without adding too much bulk. A fluorocarbon-free impregnation helps shed light moisture and resist stains, keeping the jacket looking good and performing reliably.

G-1000 Eco refers to a densely woven textile treated with an eco-friendly, water-repellent finish. The fluorocarbon-free impregnation creates a thin barrier that repels drizzle and dirt without the use of harsh chemicals. Since it isn’t fully waterproof, you’ll want a shell if you’re heading out in heavy rain, but this treatment is enough to handle damp, blustery days.
