Product Description

The Salomon X-Drive 8.8 FS is a pair of all-mountain skis built to handle varied terrain and snow conditions. Designed with versatility in mind, these skis are suited for riders who want reliable performance whether carving groomers or exploring softer snow off-piste.

With a tip-waist-tail measurement of 130/88/116 mm, the X-Drive 8.8 FS offers a balance between float in deeper snow and edge grip on firmer surfaces. The integrated STH2 WRT 13 binding ensures a solid connection to the ski and predictable release when needed. At a weight of 2040 grams per ski (183 cm length), they’re light enough to maneuver through trees or tight turns without feeling cumbersome.

The turn radius of 18.3 meters gives these skis a medium-to-long carve arc, which means smoother, more stable turns at higher speeds. The tip and tail widths aid in flotation and playfulness in softer snow, while the narrower waist helps the edges engage quickly on groomed runs.
