Product Description

The Salomon X-Max X10 is an alpine ski designed to carve precise turns on groomed slopes. Its construction aims to blend stability at speed with responsive handling, giving you confidence when laying down crisp arcs on the piste.

Measuring 169 cm in length, the X-Max X10 features a pronounced sidecut of 120/73/102 mm and a 15 m turn radius, which helps it initiate and hold tight turns without losing edge grip. The mounted XT12 binding ensures solid power transmission from boot to ski, and at 3250 g per ski, it strikes a balance between heft—adding dampening and steadiness—and enough agility for snappy direction changes.

The turn radius refers to the size of the circle the ski would carve if laid completely on edge; a 15 m radius makes for relatively short, controlled turns. Sidecut describes the ski’s hourglass shape—wider at the tip and tail, narrower underfoot—which allows the ski to dig into the snow when edged, improving turn initiation and hold.
