Product Description

The North Face Descendit Jacket is an all-purpose shell designed to keep you dry and comfortable when the weather turns wet and blustery. It’s built to handle rain and wind on the trail or around camp without adding unnecessary bulk.

Made from 100% polyester in a regular fit, this jacket features a 2-layer DryVENT construction that blocks out moisture while allowing heat and sweat to escape. The PFC-free durable water repellent (DWR) finish helps water bead off the surface without relying on harmful chemicals, so you stay drier for longer and reduce your environmental impact.

DryVENT technology works by sandwiching a waterproof, breathable membrane between two layers of fabric—this stops rain from getting in but lets your body release vapor. The PFC-free DWR coating adds an extra shield against surface moisture, ensuring the jacket remains breathable and lightweight even in steady rain.

The tried and tested Descendit is a classic all-mountain ski/board shell jacket. It’s completely waterproof, windproof and breathable thanks to the seam-sealed DryVent™ fabric technology. The overall look is pared back, but underneath this clean exterior, there are functions like a wrist pass pocket with goggle wipe, underarm vents, an adjustable helmet-compatible hood and a secure chest pocket. Lightweight Primaloft® Black lightweight insulation makes this a dependable option for the piste.
