Product Description

The Exped AirMat Lite 5 LW is a lightweight sleeping mat designed for campers and backpackers who need a compact, cushioned layer for better rest outdoors. It’s built to insulate you from the cold ground and improve overnight comfort on trips where carrying bulky gear isn’t an option.

Made with a 75D polyester top and a TPU film layer that resists hydrolysis, this mat stands up to moisture and wear over time. When inflated to 5 cm thick, it smooths out uneven terrain under you, and it packs down to a 19 × 8 cm bundle. At 715 g, it sits in the “light” category for sleeping pads, striking a balance between comfort and packability.

The AirMat Lite 5 LW has an R-value of 1.7, which gauges its thermal resistance: higher R-values mean better insulation. An R-value of 1.7 means this pad is suitable for temperatures down to about +5 °C, helping to keep you warmer by reducing heat loss to the ground. Its hydrolysis-resistant film layer also prevents moisture breakdown inside the mat, so it stays reliable season after season.
